Renewable Energy Workshop – 29th March

Would you like to learn more about renewable energy? How it works and how communities can use it to improve the local economy?

Energise Sussex Coast is facilitating a workshop on renewable energy on Thursday 29th March, from 10am – 12pm, St Leonards.

In this module, you will explore the different types of renewable technologies and how they work. You will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of solar photovoltaic, micro and small-wind turbines and microhydro electricity and the factors to consider before installing a renewable electricity technology.

You will look at the potential in Hastings and how a community energy ownership model would work.

As with all our workshops, this is a participatory workshop and a chance for us to learn from each other. Energise Sussex Coast would be very interested in people that have installed renewable technologies or are interested in doing so to participate in the workshop.

To book your free place visit the Energise Sussex Coast website.

This workshop is funded by the EU SHINE project.
